Shyne Remains in Federal Custody

Shyne born Jamal Barrow (he later changed his name to Moses Michael Leviy to reflect his conversion to Judaism as well as his Jewish heritage), who was a rapper on Bad Boy at the time, is being held in federal custody while his release is being reviewed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to determine if he should be deported to Belize where he was born.

Shyne’s attorney Oscar Michelen emphasized to MTV News this afternoon that he has not been released, contrary to media reports.

The biggest question that remains is will Diddy reach out to help Shyne!?
