Jay Z has moved up the release date of the new album, The Blueprint 3… seeing that much of the album leaked early on and then the full album hit the net last week, it makes since to go ahead and drop it today. Not to worry though, American Gangster also leaked and still garnered about 450,000 first week sales. Jay says he isn’t trippin’ either, calling the leak a “preview” for fans.
He also announced that he will be heading an arena tour!
Jiggaman will perform at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, then head overseas for a five U.K. dates, including two at Wembley Stadium with Coldplay. The North American dates will include a mix of college campus venues and traditional arenas.
