Paula announced via Twitter [how dreadful] that she is not returning to American Idol…
With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.
This is surely the beginning of the end…
Rumor had it last season that American Idol was not going to renew her contract, then they brought in the other chick, now they up Ryan Seacrest’s pay by a gamillion bucks… Clearly Paula was out. This sucks monkey balls!! I will miss her glazed over eyes, nonsensical commentary, and bickering with Simon. Plus, those poor kids need some kindness…
I’m really surprised FOX/Fremantle didn’t try to hold onto her. No one likes Kara, Randy is boring and who is going to flirt with Simon?! Plus it was always fun to try to figure out what was really in her Coke cup. You will be missed Paula
