At the young tender age of 10 or 11, Michael Jackson led the Jackson 5 as they made their first television appearance at the Miss Black America Pageant in 1969 singing the Isley’s Brother’s “It’s Your Thing” at Madison Square Garden.
Later that year they made their first national appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show…
