Jay Z: DOA (Death of Autotune)

Posted on June 29th, 2009 by by Melody

The official video of Jay Z’s “Death of Autotune” premiered after the BET Awards… Only he would be playing cards with Harvey Keitel, right. His live band last night made his set very hot…

Yes Yes Yes, can we all thank the REAL Jehovah [sorry I refuse to call Jay Z Hova] that Jay Z cut his hair. Much better… and he gave Beyonce a kiss on the cheek in public. Whatchusay!?

that’s the same thing me and my home girl said. we were on the phone looking @ the awards & vid and show his hair was gone, thank god lol. that kiss wasn’t a big deal to me, that was nothing, that’s how they greet ppl out there in hollyweird. now a kiss on the lips i would believe the whole marriage thing.

When Jay-Z released Death of Auto-tune, some loved and appreciated it but many others felt like Jay-Z took it too far. Announcing the death of auto-tune is synonymous with sucking the life and fun out of hip-hop. Hip Hop can be used to tell heart-felt stories and be anecdotal, but let’s not forget that it’s a form of entertainment and auto-tune definitely entertains. We’re not mad at Jay-Z but we definitely owe him a response.

Here’s the first single from “Overfab”, a budding entertainer who wrote her own version of D.O.A. (Death of AARP). Please listen, enjoy and share with your viewers! myspace.com/overfab

Overfab creates experiences and is a character in every sense of the word. Is she a writer, a dancer, a stylist, a designer, a rapper, a comedienne, or an actress? Well, she’s all of that, and so much more. Overfab is an experience and everything she touches turns to gold. Her passion and dedication is unwavering. Overfab always does whatever she wants to do and makes no apologies for her boldness. She is always saving her vanity. Modesty is overrated!

Overfab is a force that’s best experienced in person. Please join us as she premieres her video of D.O.A. (Death of AARP)!
