After ATL was rocking this Memorial Day weekend to bid farewell to T.I., he has officially reported to the Forrest City low-security prison in Arkansas.
According to MSNBC, T.I. was to report at noon, but the deadline passed as guards outside blocked reporters and onlookers from coming near the facility on a rural state highway. Fans gathered down the road in support of Tip.
It was not immediately known if T.I.’s late arrival would affect his plea deal with prosecutors.
Federal prison spokeswoman Linda Thomas said the Atlanta rapper would be known inside by guards as federal prison inmate No. 59458019.
As T.I. said Sunday night… “See ya’ll in 366 days!”
PLUS, Did T.I. go in as a married man? Word on the curb is that he did, but the news hasn’t come from a creditible source so until then, I’ll leave it as just a rumor.

LOL @ word on the curb. Uh, do they think that them being married will somehow help this plea deal? It’s dudes in jail with a wife, a girlfriend, a baby mama and a prison lover that won’t be seeing the light of day anytime soon. But it is just a rumor for now.
its a really sad place in life when you have to leave all your family,friends and fans..
even though he will be gone for a year and a day he should know that he has all the support he needs and when he comes out it will be like another holiday that we will never forget..he took a place in many people’s life and i hope he went in to that prison and realized that.just remember tip you are an inspiring,amazing person on this earth and not a day will go by without us thinking of you..

I think T.I. is going to be missed by many of his fans. We all make mistakes sometime in our lives. I’m just sorry this one has taken him away from his career and family. Keep God first and keep your headup.
