By this point, we pretty much can believe that Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are indeed a couple, even though it’s been kept on the low-low for a minute. The pair, pictured above, were spotted hanging in Miami last week. According to Necole Bitchie, A. Keys came into the picture after Swizz and Mashonda separated, not the home-wrecker she’s been portrayed to be.
NY Daily News says Swizzy is admitting dating Alicia Keys after a line he spits on the Drake “Best I Ever Had” remix.
Wake up in the morning and my baby cooked me breakfast, A’s naked wearing nothing on but a necklace / Yeah, she say she wanna treat me like a king; I get big gifts so the money ain’t a damn thing / She gave me a party at the Guggenheim… What’s next? The ring? The baby? She really loves me!
While rhymes are rhymes, it is partly true… just not the neaked part, or the ring and kids.
Swizzy says that are in love and she did throw the party ar Guggenhiem…
“But we’re nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring,” laughs Swizz, aka Kasseem Dean. “This whole song is not about Alicia. The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked – she never done that for me.
What we have is so precious.”
Well, of course, this is helping the cause with the inpending divorce from Mashonda. Friends say she’s jealous of the new relationship and taking her frustrations out on his bank account. While he’s “been tightening the screws on her,” dropping his monthly support from $5000 to $3500, she’s enjoyed trips to Paris and London, as well as her Benley Flying Spur and Escalade…
Mashonda insiders say she’s resisting the divorce settlement on the table “because he’s been less than forthcoming about his true financial picture.”
Swizz’s lawyer, Dan Rottenstreich, insists, “He has taken care of her and his son above and beyond what’s required.”
I’ll be damned… These celeb divorces always get nasty, especially when it comes to the money! This ish is why I don’t plan on getting married anytime soon. I only plan on doing it one time and this is the bull that makes that seem damn near impossible.
