Total BFFs First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey were two of the big names that came out for the Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World Gala at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Two of the most powerful and influential Black women in the world! That’s beautiful!

In opening remarks, the first lady asked attendees to encourage young people to pursue careers in public service and social innovation. She also announced that the Obama administration is creating a Social Innovation Fund to help inventive non-profit groups and social entrepreneurs.
