Beyonce Readies for Tour… Two More Singles!
Beyonce is really taking this double you pleasure thing all the way to the bank. As she prepares for her next big world tour, she has also shot the videos for the next two singles “Broken-hearted Girl” and “Ego.”
Don’t look for the glove this time, though. “I didn’t have the Sasha Fierce hand [in the video],” she tell EW. “But I have it on the tour. It’s actually even more wild — I have to figure out how I’m going to perform with that hand!”
“My goal for [the 'Ego' video] is simplicity,” she says. “In ‘Single Ladies,’ I saw this old tape of Bob Fosse’s wife, and I used that as inspiration. I thought in this world, with all the technology and everything that’s going on, to strip everything down — great idea. So I kind of did the same thing, but glossy and black, for ‘Ego.’”
On the tour plans: “I’ve been working on this tour for eight months, It’s crunch time! I’ve been rehearsing and trying to make sure I put my set list together. Right now I’m anxious and I can’t sleep — I’ll be wanting to be at rehearsal. That’s the only thing I can think about. But I can’t wait.”
And I can’t wait either! I’ll be catching her as she returns to the Essence Music Fest!

I’m pissed because she didn’t promote Halo or Diva, like she did IIWAB and SL! Halo was a great song! Hmph!
I’m no Beyonce hater by far, but damn who’s not tired of “Single Ladies”. She’s trying too hard, she’s not that most talked about celebrity like she was in the past. She’s on every magazine from the Cooking Ones to National Geographic, she’s beautiful and talented but she’s not the talk of the town like she once was.
