Who’s Jennifer Hudson’s Surprise Duet With?
Jennifer Hudson (seen here rehearsing) is going to be joined on stage by a surprise guest to sing a duet during Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-Grammy Party… Who could it be?
Davis said Hudson specifically asked to be included in the evening, in which the Recording Academy is honoring the legendary music producer and executive.
“Very touchingly, she called me when she read of my lifetime achievement award, (and said) that she wanted to be part of it, that she wanted to come back with her musical life, so, of course, that is touching,” he says. He added that Hudson will also be performing a surprise duet “that people won’t see elsewhere.” [SOURCE]
Whitney Houston has already been confirmed as a performer, but that seems just too easy! However, I would love to see the two of those voices hit the stage together. The party happens Sat., Feb. 7th in Beverly Hills.
In other Grammy news, Adele, Chris Brown, Kanye West and Estelle have been added to the performance lineup as well as Ne-Yo and Jamie Foxx for a tribute to the Four Tops! Fun times.
