TMZ is reporting that Rihanna [born Robyn Rihanna Fenty] has been named as the victim indeed. No shocker there really.
UPDATE: According to TMZ, Law enforcement sources tell us even though the police report in the Chris Brown arrest refers to assault with a deadly weapon, there was no weapon involved in the alleged attack.
The police report cites Penal Code Section 245 — Assault with a Deadly Weapon. However, we’re told there was no weapon involved.
One law enforcement source who has been dead-on so far claims Rihanna suffered contusions and bite marks.
CB has however hired lawyer Mark Geragos (who defended convicted murderer Scott Peterson and Michael Jackson during his child molestation trial) and is due in court March 5.
The car the pair were spotted in all weekend was a rented Lambourgini costing a hefty $2K per day! Which has been impounded. Here are pics of the couple in the car after the Clive Davis party.
UPDATE 2: My Grammy insider says that there are pics of Rihanna post-incident and the 911 call is on mp3. Expect to see those go public real soon! Plus, illseed has the skinny on more rumors, including a group of chicks following the pair and they actually broke up days before the Grammys but kept the show up for the cameras.
Other rumors includes Rihanna giving CB an unexpected gift of herpes, but I am thinking people are pulling that from her recent pictures being spotted with a cold core.
FYI… before this gets out of hand, many sites are quoting Chris’ 2007 Giant Magazine interview about his father’s domestic abuse issue, as to justify this situation. Again, this is old and not directly related to this incident.
