Update: Autopsy Results, Julia Hudson Speaks…

The continued heartbreaking story surrounding Jennifer Hudson’s family is still very much a shock. The autopsy results have been released for Jennifer Hudson’s nephew today. The investigation continues by Chicago police, as their primary suspect remains the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister.

Julian King, the 7-year-old nephew of actress-singer Jennifer Hudson, died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death has been ruled a homicide, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said this afternoon. The announcement follows an autopsy on Julian’s body, which was found in a sport-utility-vehicle parked on a street on the city’s West Side on Monday.

In another development today, documents show that a suspect in the Chicago murders of three members of Jennifer Hudson’s family was arrested for drug possession in June, but state officials didn’t revoke his parole. Parole records obtained by the Associated Press also indicate that William Balfour missed a meeting with his parole agent on Friday. That’s the day Hudson’s mother and brother were murdered and her 7-year-old nephew went missing. [SOURCE]

Julia Hudson, who police confirmed was first to find her slain mother, chose to speak out about the tragic murders of her son, mother and brother on her MySpace page.

“His lil soul is at ease, I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother and most of all the Lord, and now he’s my angel, he’s protecting me … ” she wrote.

“Now because I chose to do what was natural to me and love someone, it cost me my beautiful family, my wonderful beautiful loving supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason, I love u big baby … and last but never not least, my only son Julian,” she added.

Her MySpace page has been picked apart since the sad turn of events, I don’t think it is fair to judge her page as many things, such as her responses to surveys, were done without an inkling of thought that this kind of tragedy would happen. The entire situation is just incomprehensible. It is obvious however that the history between Julia and the suspect/estranged husband was turbulent.
