After watching Barack Obama’s informercial, I literally teared up [yeah I'm a cry baby] but I just felt this overwhelming since of pride. To see, in my young life, a man of color in a postion to finally be the President of this country, I felt a joy. I was definitely one who said this country would choose a white woman before ever electing an African American man. I just knew it would be years before I lived in a country ready to see beyond race to find a leader based on his ability to lead.
This is such a great look at the diversity of supporters and his platform for change. I urge everyone to exercise their right to vote, a right that was only given just 4 decades ago. This country needs a leader that evokes a spirit of change and progress. The message that we send to the world by electing Barack Obama, o is that this really is the land of freedom.
